Services
Beautiful bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishing really do bring out the best in our rooms and they offer so much style, comfort and luxury. They're a finishing touch that bring joy to my customers for many years.
My service is able to help you with all the details from planning what sort of window dressing would look best for a particular window and your lifestyle, to fitting the finished article.
I can provide you with an array of fabric options to suit your bespoke curtains and blinds.
Curtains
The types of curtains available are vast, but here is an idea of what I offer! Bespoke curtains can be lined, or interlined which offers a more sumptous feel. The curtain headings include:
- pleated (single, double, triple....)
- wave
- goblet
- cartidge
- pencil
- and many more!

Trims can also be added to your curtains, this could be a pom pom leading edge, or a contrasting fabric.
Roman blinds
Roman blinds are by far the most popular and very satisfying to make! They can be offered in any size to fit your window, plain or with details such as, pom pom trims, braids or contrasting edges. None of my roman blinds have visible stitches from the front and are perfectly level. Child safety is taken very seriously and all my roman blinds comply with the UK child safety legislation. Roman blinds can be operated with a chain or for an extra wow factor they can be battery operated and even linked to your Amazon Alexa device!
Blinds
I also supply various types of blinds including:
- Roller blinds
- Vertical
- Venetian
Cushions
A variety of cushions can be made to suit your needs. I offer a choice of size, shape, zipped, pipped, contrasting edge, box cushions or chair seat pads. The cushion filling is also one of your preference, from feather, foam or fibre.
Pelmets & Headboards
Pelmets can be provided to suit your window dressing and style. These are completely bespoke and made on my premises to suit your size and shape. They can be used with curtains or blinds, they can be piped or have a trim added to them.
Headboards are also bespoke and made on site and according to your brief.
Upholstery
Although I do complete some upholstery projects myself, I also work closely with an upholsterer who has worked in this industry for well over 15 years. She is able to offer both traditional and modern services depending on your requirements.
The extras!
To complement your beautifully made soft furnishing I also offer a fantastic collection of poles and tracks. These can be bespoke and made to measure any nookes and crannies or awkward spaces! They can be motorised, hand drawn or corded. I also offer a selection of trims and pom poms which can be added to cushions, curtains, blinds, pelmets or headboards. Tiebacks are also available in an array of styles, or can be made with fabric to match your window dressing.
The Process
Initial Consultation
This is usually done over the phone, where we will discuss what you require. Such as the style of window dressings, poles/tracks, fabrics the function of the room and whatever else you feel is important.
Site Consultation
I will arrange a site visit with you to discuss choices of window dressings, fabrics and accessories. I will also measure the windows and discuss suitable fixings for them and your choice of dressings. (Please note that consultations are free within a 15 mile radius, if you are further than this then a £20 consultation fee is applicable and refundable upon an order being placed)
Quotation
Once you are happy with your choices, I will be able to produce a quotation for you which you should receive within a few days by email. Should you be happy to proceed, then a 50% deposit will be required to order fabrics and materials. The remaining balance will be due once the dressings have been completed.
Fitting
I will arrange for my fitter (you are able to use your own fitter if you would prefer) to fit all the fittings at a time convenient to you. I will then dress your windows to ensure that they offer the maximum impact - it's all in the dressing process!
