About me

I live in the Yorkshire Dales with my family and cat and I run my business from my workroom set inside our back garden. I have always loved to create things with fabric and was first inspired with soft furnishings by my mother, who would make all of our curtains, cushions and various bits of bedding - she was a fabulous lady and a real inspiration to me.

I have been trained through the National Academy of Design in Professional Curtain Making and Soft Furnishings. I have also obtained a distinction qualification through the AMUSF (The Association of Mater Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers) in Soft Furnishings. I attend regular courses to update my skills or give me new perspectives and ideas.
